Nausea is a common problem and has various causes, many of which are, however, minor. Often nausea will be followed by vomiting.
Although food is the main trigger of nausea to diminish these symptoms is advised to eat certain foods. There is however a condition to eat these foods in certain quantities and at the right time.
Nausea is a condition that can affect both children and adults, but tends to be more common in certain people. For example, between 50 and 90 percent of pregnant women experience nausea, especially in the first trimester.
Also, patients who follow certain cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy and radiation) are likely to experience nausea. Other causes include motion sickness, intense pain caused by certain conditions, injuries, food poisoning, emotional stress, unwanted odors and various viruses that affects the intestinal tract.
Food and liquids can relieve nausea
Apples. Foods that contain fiber are a good way to combat the chemicals in the body that induce nausea. However, increasing fiber intake should be gradual, because too much can make you feel worse.
