Natural laxatives

Natural laxatives include, in general, any food that is high in fiber and water, such as whole grains or fruits. Another category of natural laxatives include foods such as yogurt, which promotes healthy bacteria in the intestinal tract. Other natural laxatives are those that through their actions determine the improvement of the intestinal wall contractions (peristalsis).
Any remedy used to relieve constipation and regulating bowel movements, even if it is of natural origin, should be used with caution to prevent dehydration.

Natural ways to improve constipation
Foods rich in fiber. Fiber is the part of food of plant origin that is not broken down during digestion. Fiber is divided into two main categories – soluble and insoluble, and foods rich in fiber help relieve constipation. Fiber helps maintain satiety and slows digestion. Therefore, the body has more time to assimilate all the nutrients from food. Fiber plays an important role in controlling nivelulurilor blood sugar and cholesterol.
The body needs both types of fiber, in order to digest food properly. Basically, any food that is high in fiber can be a natural laxative.
Foods rich in fiber include whole grains (wheat and rye), cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, carrots and beans. Most fruits are high in fiber and healthy alternative and the list includes plums, bananas, avocado, apples, pears, berries and kiwi.

Water. Consistency seats need to move easily through the intestines, but they also need an adequate amount of water. Without water, the seats would become too compact and could not move easily through the intestinal tract. Lack of water in the stool cause painful intestinal blockages.
Any food with a high water content can work as a natural laxative. The best example seems to be watermelon but lettuce and actually has a higher water level. Other options include apples, grapefruit, broccoli, tomatoes and cucumbers.
Of course, food is not the only way to get water intake for successful digestion. Filtered mineral water is the best way of hydration of the body. Experts recommend consuming at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Foods that help improve intestinal flora. Healthy digestion and regular bowel movements depend on the good bacteria that live naturally in the intestinal tract. Most high-fiber foods nourish these beneficial bacteria, but foods such as yogurt, citrus fruits, asparagus, peas and beans are known as help maintain balance between bacteria of intestinal flora.
Physical exercises. Although most people believe that laxatives are just products or medications that you can ingest, regular physical activity is a natural agent to stimulate the bowels. Experts do not know exactly why exercise helps regulate bowel movements, but suspect that physical activity decreases the amount of time food remains in the intestine, preventing water absorption by the intestinal wall chair.
