What should you eat is more important than what you eat, as food intolerance is generally closely related to seasonal allergies. However, it was shown that even a device for purified air has no positive effect on the symptoms, once the allergy is coming into manifestation. Help would be a paper filter applied to the air conditioner when pollen is in the air in high concentrations.
Complementary Therapies
Along with natural treatments, allergies are significantly reduced by the intervention of Chinese medicine, namely acupuncture. This is based on the idea that stimulating points outside the body can cause reactions inside it, with the role of immune activation, for it to fight the allergen.
Another study, conducted on a sample of 26 patients with hay fever, acupuncture has been proven that reduced symptoms in all 26 cases, no side effects. Acupuncture can be particularly useful in patients suffering from multiple allergies and that overburden the immune system by exposure to multiple irritants.
Precautions
Although many of the treatments offered by complementary medicine can get results in treating allergies, experts warn, however, that natural does not always mean better or safer. You must take into account the overdose that can occur even in the mildest preparations. Also overdose or adverse reactions, toxic, can occur if treatment is inappropriate or followed a long period of time.
It is important to not combine allopathic treatment with natural remedies without the doctor. For example, if your doctor recommends antihistamines and, in addition, the patient occurs without medical recommendation with natural substances with antihistamine properties, will not be the desired effect. If allergies are moderate to severe, a person should not try to treat yourself, because even the most (seemingly) harmless natural substances can amplify her allergy.
Doctors believe that the key to success – starting a treatment for allergies, before the onset of their symptoms: ideal – three weeks before allergy season begins.
